Alfredo Contreras (CEO & Producer)

 

Alfredo has broad experience as a writer, film and television director in Spain. He has been one of the most active producers in his country for the last twenty years. His experience has granted him international prestige among producers and distributors from Europe, Canada and the United Sates. Being in Canada provided him a global vision about the great potential for organizing international film co-productions from Canada. His vision was fundamental in determining the course of action required to create working alliances between Canada and Europe. This resulted in the establishment of what is known as the first Spanish-Canadian co-production company in North America: Canspan Film Factory Inc. In order to strengthen Canspan’s coproduction alliances, Alfredo assembled the capital, human and structural resources within Canada required to ensure the funding and profitability of investments in all films.
